After claiming inheritance of about forty five percent of subscribers in Nigeria who left their respective networks for another, Etisalat vows not to let those subscribers go back to their parent networks again.

etisalat-bossThe strategy to retain these people according to Etisalat was to ensure their maximum comfort on the Etisalat platform.

To maintain that promise, the network tuned its management style up a bit and in so doing attracted the Standard Organisation of Nigeria, SON’s coveted ISO 9001 certification award recently.
This certification validates that Etisalat’s quality processes and systems meet specific criteria and recognizes the company for determining customer requirements, making informed decisions, and consistently providing its products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.

ISO 9001:2008 is accepted worldwide as the standard that defines quality, sets the criteria for a quality management system and provides the necessary framework to improve company efficiency, minimize risk and maximize opportunities.

Director General of the Standard Organisation of Nigeria, (SON), Dr Joseph Odumodu, represented by the Director, Administrative and Human Capital Development, Mr Samson Adegun, described the certification as a giant stride for Etisalat in its pursuit of excellence to provide world class products and services to its customers.

On this, the Acting CEO at Etisalat Nigeria, Matthew Willsher, noted that “achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team members,”
