IKORODU—The Oke-Agbo community in Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State, has commended the Inspector- General of Police, IG, for restoring peace to the community by the deployment of a team of Special Auti- Robbery Squad, SARS, from Abuja, which arrested the hoodlums, who were intimidating and harrassing the residents.

The village, it will be recalled was invaded by gunmen, wielding Ak-47 assault riffles, pistols, cutlasses, charms and other dangerous weapons, following which the villagers petitioned the IG for him to intervene.
Consequently, the police boss sent a team of SARS, from Abuja to deal with the situation.

The police arrested five suspects with guns and other dangerous weapons and transferred them to Abuja, where investigation is still ongoing.
