OSOGBO—A former Chairman of PDP in Osun State, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, has declared his intention to run for the governorship election in the state  on the platform of Labour Party, LP.

Akinbade, who made the declaration yesterday in Osogbo, said his aspiration would be guided by the party manifesto on the development of the state.

He listed mechanised farming, industrialisation, restoration of middle class, expansion and development of infrastructure and mining as some of his agenda toward transformating the state.

His other programmes include human capital development, tourism development and building an egalitarian society.

“I am resolved to work towards the goal of providing quality leadership that will work tenaciously to bring about the required development and give our people a new lease of life, he said.
