ONITSHA — Chairman of Board of Directors of Anambra Motor Manufacturing Company, ANAMMCO Limited, Sir Godwin Okeke, has said there was no arrangement by the management to sell the company to any person or group.
Reacting to speculations that vehicle manufacturers are queuing up to take over ANAMMCO, Okeke said he never granted any press interview to any media house to that effect.
He noted that in the first place, ANAMMCO was not available for sale or take-over, in view of the huge investments which the collaborators and technical partners were currently injecting into the company, adding that no vehicle manufacturer or institution was taking over ANAMMCO.
“ANAMMCO is alive with functioning production infrastructure to implement the new National Automotive Policy, a component of the cerebral National Industrial Revolution Plan,” he said
