ADO-EKITI—FORMER  governor of Ekiti State and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial aspirant in the state,  Mr. Ayodele Fayose, yesterday, accused the  State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr. Halilu Pai of colluding with the All Progressives Congress, APC,  to alter the voters’ registers towards rigging  the June 21 governorship election in the state.

He also accused the REC of colluding with the APC to use INEC polling points for the party’s membership registration

But  APC  dismissed Fayose’s allegation saying;  “Ayo Fayose has lost it.  He is a confused politician.

“The so called INEC designated points are meant for every party. If Labour or PDP want to do registration, they  can use them. So, our action is a welcome development.”

Fayose called for the redeployment of the Electoral Commissioner to ensure free and fair governorship election.

A statement by Ayo Fayose Campaign Organisation in Ado Ekiti, claimed APC and the electoral commission, were allegedly hiding under the ongoing nation-wide  registration of the party to perpetrate the monumental fraud.

The former governor asked  the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Attahiru Jega,  to immediately probe
