AWKA — THE leadership of Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday, announced the suspension of its seven regional administrators as a fall-out of last Monday’s clash between members of the group and traders at the Old Motor Spare Parts in the commercial city of Onitsha.
The affected regional administrators were: Mr. Stephen Ahaneku in charge of Onitsha South, Emmanuel Omenka for Ogbaru, Vincent Ilo for Onitsha North, Donatus Nweke for Anambra West, Osondu Okwaraeke for Anambra East and Innocent Kalu for Oyi.
MASSOB leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike who announced the suspension after an emergency meeting over the recent clash between MASSOB and the traders, also inaugurated a peace and reconciliatory committee to meet with the market leaders with a view to resolving the crisis.
