In a bid to celebrate the yuletide and birth of Jesus Christ, art production house ‘’Nubia house’’ recently organised a special carol where they launched three albums at their Olufemi Ojo street office, Akowonjo.
The event kicked off with a rendition of the national anthem by students of Nubia House production and guests present , and after that some of the students in their unique way presented hymns that thre the entire audience into a solemn mood. Thereafter, the director, Mrs Titilayo Adebayo officially declared the event open.
It was indeed the gathering of creme la de creme in the society of Art and entertainment world as they came to share the joy of the season. Renowned story teller Jimmy Solanke, was among the dignitaries who graced the occasion and even performed .
Also at the event , three albums were launched that day, which includes ‘’Sound of the spirit , Sound of Private sector and Sound of living poetry ‘’ .
According to the director of Nubia house production, Mrs Titilayo Adebayo , ‘’The three albums are compilation of past works of the production house. Sound of Private sector is from the sound track of the soap “Private Sector” produced by the company. Sound of the spirit and sound of living poetry are compilation of popular music,some adapted as poems and re invention of musics sang by Nubia troupe and produced into CD ‘’ .
Speaking further , Titilayo Adebayo said her purpose of establishing the art school was because Art must be nurtured in the people and the artistic creativity will develop an excellent point to impact positively on man and the society.
