BAUCHI — At least one person was killed while nine others sustained injuries in an auto crash along Bayara village, few kilometres from Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The accident which happened about 3.15pm, involved a construction vehicle with number plate XG241NSR, a Honda Accord car with number plate AJ 779 TRN and a motorcycle.

According to an eyewitness, the accident was as a result of over-speeding by the driver of the Honda car who was heading towards Dass Local Government Area.
The eyewitness said: ”The driver of the Honda Accord left his lane  in the process of overtaking and collided with the construction vehicle and a man on a motorcycle died on the spot.”

Confirming the accident, Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Mr Sunday Olatunji, said 13 persons were involved in the accident of which one was confirmed dead while nine sustained injuries.
