OGUN State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Elders Council and members of PDP in Ogun Central Senatorial Zone have condoled with the inspector general of police, Ogbonna Onovo and the Ogun State commissioner of police, Hamisu Argungu, on the murder of  assistant commissioner of police, Oladokun Omolodun, during the violent crisis at Ijebu Ife penultimate Saturday.

They equally commiserated  with the families of the slain officer and other victims of the mayhem in the town.

“As part of expressing our profound grief and mourning for this slain gallant officer who died in the active service of fatherland, we hereby indefinitely postpone all political activities particularly a rally slated for Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Ifo in Ifo LGA as well as the commissioning of a new PDP LG secretariat  in honour and out of respect for the memory of Mr. Omolodun, “they said in a press statement.
