PDP chieftain ascribes Delta Central senatorial poll victory to Uduaghan

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  victory in the Delta Central senatorial by-election is a reflection of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan’s developmental strides in the state, says Mr. Basil Ishiekwene, a party chieftain in the state.

Ishiekwene, while reacting to the landslide victory of PDP at the senatorial election that took place in the area on Saturday, noted that what happened during the election showed that the good performance of the government of the day can change voting pattern in the state.

He said: “What happened at the election is a complete deviation from the voting pattern in the last senatorial election in the state. This time around, it was PDP all the way.”

He said that the PDP administration in the state  had succeeded in endearing the party to all Deltans, adding that Governor Uduaghan has performed creditably well in the area of education, transportation, road construction, electrification and returning peace to all parts of the state.

Ishiekwene noted that Governor Uduaghan has succeeded in erasing opposition in the state and urged all Deltans to continue to give their support to PDP in all elections in the state.
