420 pilgrims escape death in Sokoto, as plane makes emergency landing

No fewer than 420 intending pilgrims from Kano  State escaped death by whiskers, Friday night at Sokoto International airport when a plane belonging to Kabo Airlines made an emergency landing.

Vanguard learnt that no one was hurt, as all the passengers were evacuated to a three-star hotel in the state.

Vanguard  gathered that the Jumbo aircraft was billed to pick some highly placed individuals in  Sokoto, when it developed a technical  fault, however, another report said, two of the plane’s tyres exploded immediately after it left the Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano, for Sokoto.

Confirming the incident, Kabo Corporate Affairs, Aminu Hamza said that “Yes there was an incident but Allah saved the Day”
