How did you make the investment? Did you pay into the company’s account and receipt was issued to you, or you gave the staff cash with little or no evidence of the payment? If you gave cash to the staff and there is documentary evidence from the company confirming the investment, it maybe that the staff bolted away with the cash. In any case, you can contact the head office of the company at 23, Ajao Road, Off Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, or 01- 2120049, 2120051, 2347029523916, 8095988382. They should confirm the validity of your investment.
Should I take Daar
Communications to Court?
Good day sir, please help me. I bought Daar Communications shares in 2003 through my bank. I have my certificates but to my surprise, I have never received N1.00 or invited for any shareholders meeting. I went to the registrars being First Registrar to sell the shares, but they refused that I should buy more. Please what do I do to get my little money since shares is not for poor man.? How do I merge my shares?
While going through my stock file, I discovered I had two or three certificates of the same stock, though some are ‘Bonus’ certificates but for that of FBN.
I had purchased 500 units through BSD Securities Ltd on 7th July, 2004 and another 500 units through Consolidated Investment Ltd in 2005, before buying from the IPO. My challenge is how to have all of them merged? (Erusiafe John)

Complaint against Riverside
Trust stockbrokers
In 2005, I authourised a stockbroker, Riverside Trust, to sell my Nestle Plc shares but I was never paid. I have confirmed the sale of the shares from CSCS. What should I do to recover my money? (Adeyinka Abiodun Adewale)
Investors Forum
Riverside is one of the 39 companies delisted by the NSE early this year. We advise that you send a formal letter of complaint to the NSE and SEC. Given that the transaction took place about eight years ago, and the company has been delisted it might be difficult to recover your money.

The registrar is City Securities located in Primrose Tower, 2nd Floor, 17A Tinubu Street, Lagos. Tel: 234-1-2641298, 234-1-7924462.
