As Galaxy S4 debuts today! The features that’ll wow Nigerian users

Samsung Galaxy S4 makes a gallantry debut in the Nigerian market today and the device maker has extended invite to Glamtech to witness the launch. Tagged the life companion, the new Samsung smartphone has been touted as a rare innovation to make life easy for humans.

Although full package of the phone is yet to be fully rip open to the potential Nigerian users, we have managed to get insights to those features that would surely wow the Nigeria users.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is tipped to feature a 13-megapixel camera that you can expect to take stunning photos and record videos in full high-definition at a silky smooth frame rate that would give even digital SLRs a run for their money.

It will also spot a two-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and self-portraits in HD. A user would be able to take 360-degree panoramic shots of  surroundings with himself in the background and share them instantly on Facebook. The usual thing is that the photographer tells other peoples stories with no one telling his own Now with this feature, no more would a photographer miss in action as is always the case.

Wireless charging

You just can’t believe the embarrassment of carrying chargers with long cord about and looking for where to plug them in public functions when your mobile phone battery is down. This is why the new Galaxy S4 may be a hit in Nigeria. Glamtech discovers the new device will be capable of wireless charging, making fiddly charger cables truly a thing of the past.

Although wireless charging is not new to smartphones, the S4 comes with a more advanced method enabled by resonant magnetic coupling technology that would allow the Galaxy S4 to be charged from up to two metres away.

Magic cover

Almost every application in the new Galaxy S4 has a touch of magic but the cover is the first contact to the magic of S4. A specially designed covered which comes with some models of the new device closes to put the device to sleep and opens to bring it to life.

Although this is not new also, it also has a special appeal in the sense that when it closes and puts the phone to sleep, it however leaves a portion of the phone open for the user to check time and prompts like calls, text messages etc.

Intuitive touch free gesture tech

The S4 brings with it, intuitive touch-free gestures and eye-tracking technology to enable you control the handset with minimum physical contact and possibly even pause videos and scroll pages using your eye movements alone.

This means that you can use your phone even when eating. Just wave a hand across the face of the phone and the device comes to life, displaying contents and information. Some functionalities gives the user the opportunity to make call just by SAYING it. Could this be why it is tagged, The Life Companion?
