The Area Comptroller of Port Multiterminal, PTML, of Nigeria Customs Service, Alhaji Zakari Jubril, said, yesterday, that comparatively, this year’s first quarter revenue surpassed last year’s  revenue figures by over N1 billion, adding that the feat was due to the efforts of men and officers of the command.

Against this backdrop, the command said it was confident that it would achieve its 2013 revenue targets and even surpass same. Mr Jubril, in Lagos, said the command generated over N17.38 billion during the period under review, and raked in N16 .44 billion into the Federation Account in the corresponding period last year.
