Ghana to play Kenya in friendly football match

Accra- Ghana is to play Kenya in a friendly football match next month in Nairobi, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced.

It said in a statement issued on Saturday that the June 1 match would be used to prepare the Black Stars for their World Cup qualifying match against Sudan on June 8.

“We have reached an agreement to play Kenya in a friendly next month as part of our preparations for our World Cup qualifiers in June,’’ the statement quoted GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi as saying.

The statement said the Black Stars would be camping in Nairobi, ahead of its World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho.

Zambia is the other country in the group.
