ABUJA—The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee, LPPC, Tuesday, suspended Chief Ajibola A. Aribisala from using the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, and stripped him of all other privileges attached to the rank.

The legal body headed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mariam Aloma Muhktar, reached the decision after a meeting in Abuja, yesterday.

A statement by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Mr. Sunday Olorundahunsi who is also the Secretary of the LLPC, said that the action was taken after due consideration of a petition that was filed against Chief Aribisala by Fidelity Bank and PHCN.
