Amosun tasks Customs on accidental killings

By Daud Olatunji

ABEOKUTA – Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has challenged men of the Nigeria Customs Service, NSC, to improve on their relationship with people of the state, especially those at the border areas.   He warned them to guide against indiscriminate killings, promising to collaborate with the command to discourage smuggling.

Amosun, who received the new state Comptroller of NCS, Ade Dosunmu, in his office in Oke-Mosan Abeokuta, spoke against what he described as senseless killings of residents and traders around the border towns in the state by custom men while chasing smugglers in the area.
