JALINGO — The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Door-to-Door Movement, convened by High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated 25 vehicles to the Taraba State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The vehicles were formally handed over to APC leaders in Jalingo, the state capital, on Saturday to support the party’s grassroots mobilisation activities and the re-election campaigns of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Agbu Kefas.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Tompolo, who was represented by High Chief Kestin Pondi, said the logistics support was intended to strengthen the movement’s mobilisation structure at the polling-unit level across the state.

He urged voters in Taraba to support the APC, saying the re-election of Tinubu and Kefas would, in his view, facilitate continuity in infrastructure development and economic programmes in the state.

Responding, Governor Kefas said his administration would continue to consolidate ongoing development projects and seek increased federal presence in Taraba if re-elected in 2027.

Kefas also said he was prepared to visit wards and polling units across the state’s 16 local government areas as part of efforts to mobilise support for the APC.

Earlier, the state APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, said the party had commenced ward-level coordination and grassroots mobilisation across the 16 local government areas ahead of the elections.

He said the activities were aimed at strengthening the party’s organisation and voter mobilisation ahead of the 2027 polls.
