All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has congratulated the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, CFR, on his inauguration as the Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas.

Recall that the inauguration ceremony took place on Wednesday, at the Oba’s Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, and was officiated by the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, with traditional rulers from all 20 local government areas in attendance.

The event followed the expiration of the tenure of the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, as chairman of the council.

The Ogun State Council of Obas serves as an important advisory body to the government on matters related to the state’s socio-economic development.

In a congratulatory message, Adeola noted that the appointment is a testament to Oba Gbadebo’s wealth of experience, wisdom and longstanding commitment to the peace, unity and development of Egbaland and Ogun State.

He expressed confidence that Oba Gbadebo’s leadership would strengthen collaboration between traditional institutions and government while promoting peace, unity and development across the state.
He prayed that Almighty God would grant the Alake greater wisdom, sound health, strength and long life in his new role.
