An indigenous technology firm, Radiant diGiLog, says it is providing solutions to delayed delivery, missed assignment and communication gaps in the logistics sector through its workforce management and employee productivity platform.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Radiant diGiLog, Mrs Tayo Babatunde, gave the assurance in a statement she issued on Monday in Lagos.

Babatunde said that the platform, also known as Radiant diGiLog, was introduced in June across multiple markets including Nigeria, United Kingdom and Canada.

She said that the firm was providing the solutions with a complementary free trial of the digital platform.

According to her, delayed delivery, missed assignment and communication gaps have the potential to negatively affect customer experience and should be avoided.

“For one fast-growing logistics company currently evaluating Radiant diGiLog through the complementary 30-day trial, the challenge is not lack of operational activity but maintaining visibility across a workforce that spends most of the time outside the office.

“With dispatch teams, drivers and field supervisors working from different locations throughout the day, operational updates often depended on phone calls, WhatsApp messages and manual attendance records.

“Managers frequently found themselves repeatedly responding to the same questions such as who has arrived, which deliveries have been completed, who is available for reassignment, and where are delays occurring?” she said.

According to Babatunde, as businesses grow, obtaining reliable answers quickly becomes increasingly difficult.

She said that pilot deployment of the digital platform had enabled companies to explore how a connected workforce management platform could improve coordination without disrupting workflows.

“The evaluation included attendance management, rota planning, task allocation, workforce communication, operational reporting and live tracking of vehicle locations.

“This gives supervisors greater visibility into both the field teams and operational assets from a single platform.

“According to operations managers participating in the trial, one noticeable change has been the ability to access information through a single operational view rather than relying on multiple conversations across different channels.”

Babatunde said that use of Radiant diGiLog would enable managers to view information about staff attendance, task progress, vehicle locations and field activities in one place, enabling them to coordinate teams more effectively and respond quicker to operational demands.

” One supervisor said he had always had the information but the challenge was that it lived in different places, and bringing the information together had changed how quickly he could respond.”

Babatunde added that the free trial had encouraged discussions around standardising routine processes that previously evolved differently across teams and locations, creating greater consistency in workforce coordination and operational decision-making.

She said that as businesses would expand, operational excellence would depend not only on hardworking teams but also on giving managers timely visibility into the people, vehicles and processes they would be responsible for.

“For organisations managing increasingly distributed workforces, the future of productivity may lie less in working harder and more in working with greater clarity,” she said.

Babatunde said that Radiant diGiLog, developed in Nigeria, was designed to replace traditional, error-prone manual methods such as paper logs, spreadsheet tracking, and chaotic WhatsApp groups used by small and medium enterprises

” As businesses grow, maintaining visibility across teams, locations and daily operations becomes more challenging. Radiant diGiLog was created to help businesses work smarter, improve accountability and support sustainable growth.

“The platform provides tools that help organisations manage attendance, workforce activities, reporting, task execution and productivity through a single digital environment.

“Because diGilog logs every task assigned, due, and completed, it builds an unbiased performance record over time. A manager can pull 12 months of data and see objectively, who consistently delivers and who consistently falls behind,” she said.
