The Executive Principal of Docenti Global Business School (DGBS), Prof. Humphery Akanazu, has emphasised the need for continuous curriculum development to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice.
Akanazu made the call following the institution’s approval as an organisational member of the American Accreditation Association (AAA), effective June 8, 2026, describing the recognition as an impetus to strengthen academic quality and align business education with global best practices.
He said the school remains committed to developing curricula that equip students, professionals and entrepreneurs with practical business knowledge, leadership competencies and industry-relevant skills needed to thrive in an increasingly competitive global economy.
According to him, DGBS will continue to strengthen its academic programmes through innovation, research, executive education and strategic partnerships that foster closer collaboration between academia and industry.
“Our focus remains on curriculum development, institutional quality assurance and building partnerships that bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice,” Akanazu said.
He noted that the American Accreditation Association membership validates the institution’s commitment to continuous improvement, global relevance and internationally recognised standards, while creating greater opportunities for students and executives seeking quality business education.
Akanazu also appreciated the institution’s students, faculty, alumni, corporate partners and other stakeholders for their continued support, describing the recognition as another milestone in DGBS’ journey toward becoming a globally connected business school.
Docenti Global Business School stated that the American Accreditation Association membership, which is valid until June 8, 2027, reflects its commitment to maintaining high academic standards and delivering business education that meets international expectations.
