Nigeria’s new envoy to Hungary, Ambassador Abas Braimah, has stressed on the need to deepen bilateral ties between the two countries.

The Nigerian diplomat during a meeting with the Hungarian Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Lorand Endreffy, in Abuja, on Wednesday, noted that the foundational work for robust diplomatic relationships haven been laid, it is time the two countries translate their shared goals into tangible, deeply rooted bilateral action.

Ambassador Braimah who was warmly received by his counterpart and the Deputy Head of Mission, Kristo Korosi at the Hungarian Embassy in Abuja, noted that the global economy is evolving rapidly, and hence, the imperative of bridging Abuja and Budapest through stronger bilateral trade, technological transfer, sports, and educational opportunities for our youth.

The Ambassador who was accompanied by the Managing Director of Yokdaniel Nig. Limited, Princess Golda Osikhena asserted that:”My mission is to ensure this partnership goes far beyond traditional diplomacy,” .

Both agreed on the remarkable collaboration between the two countries, particularly in advancing Nigeria’s digital visa infrastructure to accelerate travel and migration, and through strategic exchanges in water resources management and technology, and agreed that far more can and should be done, to further strengthen and depeen bilateral relations.

Ambassador Endreffy who used the opportunity to Congratulate Ambassador Braimah, added that his country look forward towards expanded cooperation agreements with Nigeria.

Both envoys shared further pleasantries and later stood to be photographed.
