…Hails Contributions to Democracy, National Unity
An Igbomina leader and President of Egbe Omo Igbomina, Sir Bisi Fakayode, has congratulated Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim on his 57th birthday, commending his contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development, national unity and humanitarian causes.
In a statement marking the occasion, Fakayode described Olawepo-Hashim as a public figure whose years of service have impacted politics, community development and the lives of many Nigerians.
He said Olawepo-Hashim distinguished himself during Nigeria’s pro-democracy movement through his advocacy for democratic governance and the protection of citizens’ rights.
According to Fakayode, Olawepo-Hashim has consistently promoted leadership founded on service, integrity and commitment to the public good.
“Gbenga Hashim has shown that politics can serve as a platform for public service and national development when driven by integrity and compassion,” he said.
Fakayode also acknowledged Olawepo-Hashim’s role in political development in Kwara State and other parts of the country, saying he invested in people and institutions while supporting democratic ideals.
He noted that several individuals who have served in public life benefited from Olawepo-Hashim’s mentorship and encouragement.
The Egbe Omo Igbomina president further praised Olawepo-Hashim’s philanthropic activities, particularly his support for education, youth empowerment and humanitarian initiatives.
He said Olawepo-Hashim’s legacy is reflected in the lives he has touched and the opportunities he has helped create for many Nigerians.
