A Renowned educator, researcher, and philanthropist Dr. Dilma De Araujo has been confirmed as a delegate for the upcoming Diplomatic Conference 2.0. The event is scheduled to take place from July 9–10, 2026, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.

The conference seeks to advance diplomacy, foreign policy, multilateralism, and international cooperation. Dr. De Araujo brings over fifteen years of international experience across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia to the forum.

Her distinguished career is defined by an unwavering commitment to inclusive education, gender equality, and diversity. A recognized authority in business, finance, and higher education policy, she has spent her professional life championing the rights of underrepresented communities and learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Her presence at the conference underscores the critical intersection of education policy, social justice, and international diplomacy. “Education is one of the most powerful tools for social justice,” says Dr. De Araujo is a principle that continues to guide her professional and humanitarian endeavours.

Dr. De Araujo’s extensive background—which includes roles as a former Governor at a Church of England Federation of Schools, a Mental Health Campaigner with Mind UK, and an advisor to international educational bodies—positions her as a key advocate for systemic equity. As a delegate, she aims to engage in critical discourse regarding how nations can harness compassionate leadership and innovation to create educational systems where diversity is embedded and every learner is empowered.

Her participation reflects the conference’s goal of bringing together diverse voices to chart a course for sustainable international development, ensuring that education remains a focal point in global diplomatic strategy.

The conference is organised by the African Transformer Institute (ATI) and the Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development (CEPASD), in partnership with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on International Cooperation and the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy
