ABUJA: Political foot soldiers of President Bola Tinubu under the aegis of Renewed Hope Ambassadors RHA have urged Governor Biodun Oyebanji, who won Saturday’s Ekiti State governorship election in a landslide, to be magnanimous in victory and run an inclusive government that unites all Ekiti people for greater progress.

The group’s Director of Media and Publicity, Tunde Rahman, gave the charge in a statement on behalf of its National Coordinator and Imo state governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

“We urge the Governor to remain inclusive and magnanimous in victory as he works to unite all Ekiti people for greater progress”, he said.

The Ambassadors noted that Governor Oyebanji’s first term “delivered visible results in infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, healthcare, and education,” describing the renewed mandate as “a call on the governor to do more in his second term.”

The group also congratulated ita South-west Zonal Coordinator and Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority NPA, Chief Dayo Adeyeye, the Ekiti State Coordinator, and 16 Local Government Coordinators on the victory.

The Ambassadors commended President Tinubu, “whose bold reforms and policies created the enabling environment for victory at the polls,” and praised the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma; Deputy Director-General, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State; Secretary, Governor Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe, and other governors for their “relentless efforts” towards the victory of the All Progressives Congress APC in the election.

The group described the governor’s re-election as a reflection of “strong confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s Shared Prosperity Agenda and its alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision for Nigeria,” and expressed optimism that “Ekiti’s best days are ahead.”
