Bean Creative IMC, a subsidiary of Chocolate City Group, played a central role in the execution of the Group’s participation at the BusinessDay Creative Entertainment Summit 2026, overseeing communications strategy, content development, stakeholder engagement, and on-ground activations.

The integrated communications and creative execution agency, which operates across new media and digital marketing, talent management and activation, public relations, and integrated marketing communications, was responsible for coordinating Chocolate City Group’s overall presence at the summit.

As part of its mandate, Bean Creative IMC managed content production, media relations, event activations, and digital amplification, ensuring sustained visibility for the Group before, during, and after the event.

The agency also facilitated a branded advertising campaign featured during the summit, further strengthening Chocolate City Group’s visibility within the event’s programming and audience engagement activities.

In addition to its execution role, Bean Creative IMC participated in preliminary discussions with BusinessDay that contributed to Chocolate City Group’s eventual sponsorship of the summit.

Speaking on the collaboration, PR Lead at Bean Creative IMC, Desmond Ezebuiro, who represented Chocolate City Group, said the engagement underscored the value of strategic communication and coordinated execution in advancing conversations around the creative economy.

According to him, “This engagement reflects the importance of structured communication and coordinated execution in how the creative economy is presented. The summit provided a platform to amplify industry conversations through intentional partnership and delivery.”

Also speaking, Stephanie Emeka-Akam of BusinessDay commended the partnership, describing the collaboration with Bean Creative IMC and Chocolate City Group as seamless.

“Working with Bean Creative IMC and Chocolate City Group was seamless. Their involvement across planning and execution contributed meaningfully to the success of the summit and the quality of engagement delivered to attendees,” she said.

Industry observers note that the collaboration highlights the growing partnership between media organisations and stakeholders within the creative sector as efforts intensify to build structured conversations around Africa’s expanding creative economy.

The BusinessDay Creative Entertainment Summit has continued to serve as a platform for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration among key players across the entertainment, media, and creative industries.
