In Nigeria’s ever-evolving Afrobeat landscape, emerging artists continue to redefine the sound of a generation, and one name steadily making his presence felt is Osax Beast.

Born Okhiokpamwonyi Osarobo on June 3, 1995, the Edo State native has carved a unique path through music, fueled by passion, resilience, and an undeniable connection to sound. Although he officially began exploring music at the age of 18, his relationship with singing transcended mere entertainment. For Osax Beast, music became a source of energy, expression, and identity.

“Whenever I sing, I feel this energy all around me,” he says, describing the emotion that convinced him music was more than just a hobby.

Currently based in Lagos State, Nigeria’s entertainment capital, Osax Beast has immersed himself in the vibrant creative ecosystem that continues to produce some of Africa’s biggest stars.

His educational journey reflects his commitment to growth and self-development. He attended Classical International School for his secondary education before furthering his studies at Lead City University and later the National Open University of Nigeria.

Musically, Osax Beast draws inspiration from some of Africa’s most influential acts, including Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Black Sherif, and Adekunle Gold. Their artistry has helped shape his perspective while encouraging him to develop a sound rooted in authenticity.

Signed to Big Steppers Recording, Osax Beast recently introduced listeners to his single, “BANKO,” a record that showcases his evolving artistry and ambition within the Afrobeat genre.

As he continues to build momentum, Osax Beast represents a new generation of Nigerian musicians unafraid to embrace their individuality while honoring the rich heritage of Afrobeat.
