Wema Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion through its partnership with the SheCan Do More Conference 2026, a platform designed to equip women with the tools, networks and opportunities needed to succeed in business and leadership.

The bank, through its women-focused proposition, SARA by Wema, is sponsoring the conference scheduled to hold on June 19, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to the bank, the partnership aligns with its broader vision of supporting women beyond access to finance by providing mentorship, knowledge-sharing opportunities, strategic networks and resources that enable them to build sustainable businesses and advance their careers.

The conference is expected to bring together women entrepreneurs, professionals, business owners and emerging leaders for discussions focused on personal growth, business development, leadership and economic advancement.

Attendees will also have access to free health screenings upon joining the SARA Community, discounted interest rates and complimentary health plans attached to eligible SARA Business Loan applications.
