…as global crusade train moves to Abuja June 24

ABUJA- THE General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, and Convener, Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, Pastor William Kumuyi, Tuesday, revealed GCK targets over 200,000 participants as the global crusade train moves to Abuja, the nation’s capital from June 24-29, 2026.

Kumuyi made this known during a press conference through the State Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, Pastor Edison Daminabo, at the FCT Headquarters of the Church in Abuja.  

According to him, the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, with the theme ‘Christ’s Wonder-Working Power’ will be attended by over 200,000 people in Abuja, and the church has put in place all necessary majors to host the participants.

He said the first session of the epoch-making Crusade will be held at the FCT headquarters of the Church at Kado from June 24-25, and the last session will be held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, which a huge crowd is expected to be in attendance.

He explained that the Crusade is basically organized to solve human problem of sin through salvation of souls which Jesus Christ came for, and had commanded and mandated the Church to do, and that also will lead to healing and deliverance of persons held bond by the powers of the devil during the crusade.

He also said the Crusade will be broadcasted live across various conventional and social media platforms to reach various parts of the world with millions of people connected to the Crusade from Africa, America, Australia, Asia, Europe, and other parts of the world.

He made it known that the Crusade had transformed thousands of lives since it began in 2021 in Abuja, and had been held in most Nigerian states, African countries including India, Canada, Australia, Pakistan, and others. 

The crusade serves as a renewed vision of GCK and as a relaunch as well.

Other segments of the crusade include Ministers’ Conference and Impact Academy for young people, where Kumuyi will also engage with participants during these side events of the GCK.

He said: “The primary focus of the crusade is salvation. While God heals the sick, delivers the oppressed and performs miracles, these are secondary to the central message of eternal life through Jesus Christ,”

Meanwhile, the cleric said the Church is the engine-room of any government, because of its prayers, preaching and counsel, and if the Church is neglected the nation is at risk, “The church supports government by serving as a moral foundation, guiding leaders, praying for them and encouraging them to make the right decisions.” 

He continued, “When a person has God in his life, he gains confidence that God is able to protect and preserve him. Our trust is not in human strength but in the power of God.” 

He assured that this crusade is a divinely orchestrated edition of the GCK and it will be different in many ways and would address challenges facing the country, as he noted that previous editions of the crusade had recorded peaceful gatherings without incidents such as stampedes, violence or other major safety concerns.

He also urged media organisations to drive what the Church is doing to transform the lives of the people to the glory of God by objective reportage.
