Abia State native Ahize Grace Onyinye is turning a passion for “good pictures” into a growing photography business that documents milestones and tells Nigerian stories through the lens.
Onyinye, popularly known as “thereal_Nunu,” launched her professional photography career in October 2025 under the brands http://The.snap_girl and http://thereal.nunu. She said she treats photography not just as a job but as a tool for preserving emotion, celebrating events, and inspiring communities.
In less than a year, the self-described serial entrepreneur has participated in three major programmes and events, expanding her reach within Nigeria’s creative industry. She credits resilience and a goal-driven mindset for her early traction.
Despite her modest response of “getting there” when asked about awards, Onyinye said she is focused on consistency and continuous improvement. She confirmed that new projects and brand expansions are already in development, with more details to be announced soon.
With http://The.snap_girl and http://thereal.nunu, Onyinye joins a new wave of Nigerian entrepreneurs converting creative passion into purpose-driven business. As she builds her portfolio and client base, industry observers say her work reflects the growing role of visual storytelling in shaping culture and perception.
The photographer said her long-term vision centers on capturing authentic Nigerian moments while growing brands that create meaningful impact at home and beyond.
