NAGAFF lauds Rolling Grazing Terminal for business readiness

The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, NAGAFF has commended Rolling Grazing Bonded Terminal, Ijanikin, along Lagos Badagry Expressway for the new innovation and infrastructures put in place to create seamless business for cargo operation.

NAGAFF had through its Head of Trade Advocacy Committee, Dr Increase Uche, announced a nationwide inspection and assessment of licensed Customs-bonded warehouses and terminals across the country’s six geopolitical zones to be carried out by a Special Technical Assessment Team.

Speaking during the inspection of Rolling Grazing Bonded Terminal, Ijanikin, led by Founder of NAGAFF, Dr Boniface Aniebonam, said that the inspection became necessary to review and assess the facilities belonging to Customs-bonded warehouses and terminals utilised by freight forwarders.

He explained that the terminal is equipped with the required infrastructure and technology to support seamless cargo operations, automation, cargo handling facilities, among others

“Rolling Grazing, I can tell you that they are ready for business. It is for us to take advantage, the facilities here would reduce pressure on the seaports.

Meanwhile, Technical Operations Manager of the terminal, Stanley Enoma, said that the terminal would accommodate 5,000 TEUs after ongoing expansion.

Enoma said the terminal was built to meet global standard.

He said: “We have achieved the necessary standards for a top-tier facility, we are confident we have met world-class standards and can provide service. We implement the Terminal Operating System (TOS) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems to manage the shipping containers from their arrival at our terminal to their departure.”
