Christian ministry, Joshua’s Generation, has continued to strengthen its focus on discipleship, mentorship, and leadership development across Nigeria through a range of faith-based programmes that equip a new generation of Christian leaders.

Founded in 2021 by Apostle Joshua Iyemifokhae Aileoje, the Lagos-based ministry has grown its presence through worship services, conferences, leadership training sessions, mentorship initiatives, and digital outreach programmes.

According to the organisation, its mission is centered on nurturing spiritual growth and raising believers who can positively influence society through Christian values and leadership principles.

Speaking on the vision behind the ministry, Apostle Aileoje said Joshua’s Generation was established to help believers deepen their faith while developing leadership capacity rooted in biblical teachings.

“Our commitment is to raise a generation of believers who are grounded in the Word of God, equipped for service, and prepared to provide leadership in their communities and spheres of influence,” he said.

Since its inception, the ministry has organized various religious gatherings and training programmes in different parts of the country, combining physical events with online engagement to reach a wider audience.

The organisation noted that its activities include discipleship programmes, mentorship platforms, conferences, worship gatherings, and educational content designed to promote Christian teachings and leadership development.

Apostle Aileoje explained that the ministry’s name was inspired by the biblical figure Joshua, who is widely regarded for his faith, courage, and leadership.

“The name ‘Joshua’s Generation’ reflects our desire to inspire believers to embrace faith-driven leadership, commitment to God, and service to humanity,” he said.

The ministry has increasingly leveraged digital platforms to complement its physical programmes, enabling participants from different locations to access teachings, leadership resources, and mentorship opportunities.

Observers within the Christian community say the growing emphasis on leadership training among faith-based organisations reflects a broader effort to prepare young Christians for leadership roles within the church and society.

Joshua’s Generation said it remains committed to expanding its programmes and outreach initiatives as it continues to pursue its vision of fostering spiritual growth and leadership development among Christians in Nigeria and beyond.
