Nigerian comedian and entertainer, Real Warri Pikin, delivered a sold-out performance in Houston, Texas, entertaining audiences with a blend of comedy, storytelling and motivational messages.

According to a statement by Obi-West Utchaychukwu, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Global African Diaspora Awards, the “In My Element” show attracted comedy enthusiasts, members of the African diaspora and entertainment lovers from across Texas and neighbouring states.

The event opened with an introduction by veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD. Real Warri Pikin then took to the stage, engaging the audience with her signature humour, storytelling and interactive performance.

Known for her relatable style and strong connection with audiences, the comedian delivered a programme that combined stand-up comedy, audience engagement and inspirational reflections.

A major highlight of the evening was her recognition by the Global African Diaspora Awards, which presented her with the African Comedy Excellence Award in recognition of her contributions to comedy and entertainment.

The awards platform celebrates achievements by Africans and people of African descent around the world. Organisers said the 2026 edition of the awards is scheduled for November 7, 2026, in Houston, Texas.

Expressing appreciation for the recognition, Real Warri Pikin thanked the audience for its support and described the experience as an opportunity to connect with fans and share memorable moments through comedy.

Beyond the performances, the event also celebrated African culture and community, with attendees commending the atmosphere and organisation of the show.

The successful Houston outing marked another milestone in Real Warri Pikin’s U.S. tour and highlighted her growing international presence in the comedy industry.
