Prof. Asikhia recognised as Ambassador for Peace

Professor Festus Uwakhemen Asikhia has been recognised as an Ambassador for Peace by the Global Peace Festival Foundation in acknowledgment of his contributions to humanitarian service, leadership, and community development.

The recognition was conferred under Certificate Number AFP/NIG/3230 and was awarded by the foundation’s International Chairman, Dr. Jin Preston Moon.

According to information released by the foundation, the Ambassador for Peace designation is reserved for individuals whose work has contributed to the promotion of peace, human dignity, social progress, and community development.

Prof. Asikhia, an academic and business leader, has been involved in initiatives spanning education, youth empowerment, leadership development, entrepreneurship, public health, governance advocacy, and humanitarian interventions.

The foundation noted that his activities over the years have focused on promoting responsible leadership, institutional development, and community empowerment.
