The organisers of the Africa International Housing Show (AIHS), have announced plans to host a special 20th Anniversary Night of Honours and Awards to celebrate distinguished exhibitors, consistent sponsors, notable personalities, and institutions that have played significant roles in shaping housing delivery and urban development across Africa.

As part of activities marking its 20 years of impact and industry leadership, AIHS will recognise stakeholders whose sustained commitment, partnership, innovation, and investments have contributed immensely to the growth of the housing and construction sector.

The anniversary event will also witness the unveiling of the “100 Most Credible Real Estate Companies in Africa” — a special recognition list compiled based on customer experiences, public perception, service delivery, trust, project execution, and overall credibility within the real estate industry.

According to the organizers, the initiative is aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, and excellence within Africa’s real estate sector while encouraging developers and housing institutions to prioritize customer satisfaction and ethical business practices.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Convener of AIHS described the 20th anniversary celebration as a milestone that reflects two decades of industry collaboration, policy conversations, innovation, and advocacy for affordable housing and sustainable development across the continent.

“The Night of Honours and Awards is not only a celebration of longevity, but a recognition of those who have remained committed to advancing housing development in Africa. The unveiling of the 100 Most Credible Real Estate Companies in Africa will further spotlight organizations that have earned the trust and confidence of their customers through quality service and integrity,” the organizers stated.

Over the past two decades, AIHS has grown into Africa’s foremost housing and construction platform, bringing together government officials, investors, developers, financial institutions, manufacturers, housing professionals, and international stakeholders to explore solutions to housing challenges and investment opportunities within the built environment.

The 20th anniversary edition is expected to attract participants from across Africa and beyond, featuring exhibitions, policy dialogues, technical sessions, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships focused on transforming the future of housing delivery on the continent.
