African Director of the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, has felicitated Dr Nimi Briggs on her birthday, praising her leadership and sustained support for startups across Africa.

Amafibe, in a statement on Tuesday, described Briggs as a key figure in the continent’s peace and business ecosystem, noting her role on the Advisory Board of the Executive Council of the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa and her contributions to leadership development.

According to him, her work continues to resonate across sectors, with growing recognition from colleagues and international partners who see her as a strong advocate for governance, education and economic growth.

He highlighted her involvement in mentoring programmes, noting that her engagement with young entrepreneurs and startups has strengthened capacity building efforts across the continent.

“Her ability to mentor emerging leaders and support startups through the initiative’s various workshops and training programmes has solidified her status as a ‘walking billboard’ of African integrity and progress,” he said.

Amafibe noted that Briggs’ leadership as Chief Executive Officer of NIMPAT Group, adding that it has helped bridge business and humanitarian efforts, positioning her among personalities to be honoured at the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit 2026 in Morocco.

He further commended her for contributing to policy advocacy and innovation, supporting broader efforts aimed at promoting sustainable development and projecting a positive image of Africa globally.
