The 17th edition of Mr Ideal Nigeria, widely regarded as the country’s leading male pageant, has crowned Victor Eko as its new titleholder.
Eko, who represented Edo State, emerged winner after a keenly contested finale, positioning himself as one of Nigeria’s rising figures in the pageantry and creative space.
A visual artist and fitness trainer, he stood out throughout the competition for his creativity, discipline, and strong stage presence. He edged out Abuja David, who finished as first runner-up after an impressive performance.
Eko succeeds outgoing titleholder Shammah Obadan, ushering in a new phase for the Mr Ideal Nigeria brand.
As part of his win, he receives a prize package valued at ₦10 million, including a management deal with House of Twitch, a scholarship to Royal Arts Academy, an official car, and an all-expenses-paid trip to Rwanda, courtesy of Marksman Travels. He will also represent Nigeria internationally at the Man of the World pageant in the Philippines and Mister Africa International, alongside securing a movie role with Eis World.
First runner-up Abuja David will also benefit from the competition, earning the opportunity to represent Nigeria at Mister Tourism World in Vietnam, among other rewards.
The contest featured a strong lineup of finalists, with the Top 6 including Lagos Mohzeez, Anambra Emery, Abia Paul, and Ogun Jozzie, who placed third.
This year’s edition celebrated not only physical appeal but also talent, intellect, and purpose, reinforcing the pageant’s focus on grooming well-rounded ambassadors. With Victor Eko as the new titleholder, expectations are high for a reign marked by impact, creativity, and global representation.
