After five years of driving institutional market growth at Geneith Pharmaceuticals Limited, Pharm. Judith Ngozi Udeh has stepped down from her role as Principal Manager, Marketing) and Head of Hospital and Institutional Business, unveiling a new healthcare consultancy aimed at expanding access across Nigeria and Africa.
Udeh’s departure was marked by an emotional send-off, as colleagues organised a surprise farewell ceremony attended by staff across departments, who paid glowing tributes to her leadership, professionalism, and mentorship.
Speaking at the event, Udeh said her tenure at Geneith was driven by a clear focus on advancing institutional market access through structured Hospital and Institutional Business (HIB) frameworks.
“I enjoyed my work at Geneith, particularly in developing systems that align pharmaceutical supply with procurement processes and real clinical demand,” she said. “Institutional business frameworks are critical to improving healthcare access. They go beyond sales—they ensure that products align with real healthcare needs and realities.”
She explained that the models introduced under her leadership helped to strengthen stakeholder relationships, improve product visibility, and enhance supply chain coordination within the healthcare ecosystem.
Udeh, however, noted that Nigeria’s pharmaceutical landscape remains complex, citing fragmented supply chains, evolving regulatory systems, and disparities in institutional capacity as key challenges.
“There is a strong need for more integrated, systems-driven approaches that can connect innovation with access,” she added.
In his remarks, Assistant General Manager (Sales), Pharm. Simeon Okechukwu, described Udeh as “an exceptional negotiator and strategic thinker,” whose efforts significantly expanded the company’s institutional footprint.
“At a time when opportunities were limited, she facilitated key partnerships and Memoranda of Understanding that opened new frontiers for the business,” he said.
Also speaking, Head of Human Resources and Administration, Mrs. Ada Cosmas, commended Udeh’s integrity and innovative mindset.
“She consistently turned ideas into measurable results while maintaining a strong people-oriented approach,” Cosmas said.
Similarly, Assistant General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Pharm. Abimbola Bowoto, praised her dedication and professionalism, noting that she set a high performance standard within the organisation.
Senior Medical Representative, Mr. Rex Abode, while acknowledging that her exit would be felt, expressed optimism about her next phase.
“We are confident she is moving on to greater heights,” he said.
Announcing her next move, Udeh unveiled JunGlobal Healthcare Solutions Ltd, a consultancy firm aimed at supporting organisations seeking to enter or expand within the Nigerian and African healthcare markets.
“JunGlobal was established to bridge the gap between healthcare innovation and market success,” she said. “Our focus is to ensure that regulatory approval translates into real access, institutional adoption, and sustainable growth.”
