Youths across the 36 states of the federation have been urged to tap into opportunities in the real estate sector to improve their livelihoods and contribute to national development.
The Managing Director of Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd, Architect Chibuikem Onyekachi Emmanuel, made the call on Friday during the Realtors Fest/Meet and Greet held at the company’s South East regional office in Independence Layout, Enugu.
He said the firm is committed to reshaping the real estate industry by ensuring that clients, realtors, partners, and other stakeholders derive maximum value from their investments and services.
Onyekachi noted that Nigeria’s current economic realities have made survival difficult for many, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, warning that such conditions could push some into crime and other social vices.
He explained that Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd has acquired properties across Nigeria, as well as in countries like Kenya and Rwanda, providing opportunities for hardworking youths to earn a living through strategic marketing and sales.
According to him, many young people have already benefited from these opportunities and improved their financial standing.
He further emphasized the company’s commitment to building a transparent and inclusive real estate ecosystem that offers equal opportunities regardless of background.
“Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd is not just a real estate company; it is a movement aimed at redefining business in Nigeria. We believe in integrity, accountability, and rewarding hard work. Our doors are open to every young Nigerian willing to learn and grow, ”he said.
He added that through training, mentorship, and structured support systems, the company is positioning itself as a platform for wealth creation and career development.
Also speaking, the company’s Manager, Surveyor Steve Ibaro, said the initiative is designed to connect youths with life-changing opportunities in the real estate sector.
He noted that the company has established a framework that supports both new and experienced realtors to succeed.
Ibaro urged participants to remain focused and disciplined, assuring them that success is achievable within the system provided by the company.
The event featured interactive sessions where participants gained insights into the real estate business, explored available property portfolios, and received incentives in recognition of their efforts.
