Political leaders across the local government areas in Ikorodu Division of Lagos State have rallied round Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson for another term in the House of Representatives.
The leaders based their support on the sterling performance of Hon. Benson in the National Assembly.
Speaking for the leaders yesterday at a forum in Ikorodu, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area, Hon. Ameen Olawale Ibrahim Apanisile, noted that since Hon. Benson had proven to be a good representative of the people, there was no need changing a winning team.
“I, Hon Ameen Olawale Ibrahim Apanisile, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, on behalf of my fellow Executive Chairmen across Ikorodu Division, hereby formally declare our total and unwavering support for the re-election of Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson to the House of Representatives in 2027.
“This endorsement is not made lightly. It is a deliberate decision rooted in proven performance, visible impact, and a steadfast commitment to the growth and development of Ikorodu Division. Hon. Benson has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, delivering tangible dividends of democracy and championing the interests of our people at the federal level.
“As leaders at the grassroots, we have witnessed firsthand the transformation his representation has brought to our communities—particularly in infrastructure, education, empowerment, and human capital development. His accessibility, responsiveness, and dedication to service distinguish him as a worthy representative of our collective aspirations.
