Ambassador Kingsley Amafibe has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Director of Finance and Accounts at the Niger Delta Development Commission, NADDC, Dr Asu Kunemofa, describing her as a visionary leader with a track record of excellence in public service.
Amafibe, Project Director Africa of 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa, in a goodwill message on Wednesday, lauded Kunemofa’s contributions to financial governance and accountability adding that it has strengthened the commission’s operations and supported development across the Niger Delta.
He noted that with over two decades of experience in public finance and administration, Kunemofa has built a reputation for professionalism and integrity, positioning her among Nigeria’s leading public sector financial experts.
“On behalf of the Board of Advisory Council, I extend warm felicitations and heartfelt tribute to a distinguished administrator, accomplished financial expert, and visionary leader, Dr Asu Kunemofa, Director of Finance and Accounts at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), as she marks another remarkable year of impact, excellence, and service to humanity,” he said.
He added that Kunemofa has also been recognised for her role in advancing transparency and accountability, as well as her contributions to human capacity development, education, healthcare support and community empowerment initiatives.
“Widely respected for her professionalism, integrity, and commitment to development, Dr Kunemofa has built an enviable reputation as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished public sector financial leaders. Her leadership style, driven by compassion, discipline, and strategic vision, has made her a role model for young professionals and women in leadership,” he added.
Beyond her role at NDDC, she serves as Vice Chairperson of the Board of Advisory Council of 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa, where she contributes to leadership and peace building efforts across the continent.
