A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ogun State, Mr. Abayomi Hunye, has urged Christians to embrace selfless service to humanity as they celebrate Easter.

Hunye, who is the Managing Director of the Ogun State Waste Management Authority, OGWAMA, made the call in an Easter message made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital.
He congratulated Christians across the state on the celebration, calling on them to emulate the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ, which he described as the essence of the season.

According to him, Easter symbolises selflessness, love and sacrifice, virtues he said are critical to building a better society.

“On this auspicious occasion of Easter, I extend my warmest greetings to our Christian brothers and sisters across our great state. The essence of Easter is the selfless love, sacrifice and the foundation upon which we must build our future,” he said.

The APC governorship hopeful further urged residents of the state to remain committed to peace, unity and collective progress.

“As we reflect on the significance of this season, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to the peace and prosperity of Ogun State.

“Together, we shall rise to the challenges of our time and birth a new era of inclusive growth. Happy Easter,” he added.

Hunye reaffirmed his commitment to fostering inclusive development in the state, stressing the need for collective responsibility in addressing societal challenges and advancing growth.
