Fast-rising Nigerian artiste Skeng We$ has revealed that despite performing on stage, he is naturally shy and reserved, a trait that has significantly shaped his music and artistic identity.

Speaking on his journey, the Lagos-born performer said he often struggled with expressing himself in social settings while growing up due to anxiety, noting that music eventually became his outlet for communication.

According to him, his songs reflect his personal experiences and emotions, allowing him to connect with listeners on a deeper level. He explained that rather than projecting an untouchable image, he prefers to share his reality, including moments of happiness, frustration, and uncertainty.

Skeng We$ added that his goal is to build a strong musical career by releasing multiple successful projects and embarking on global tours within the next five years. He expressed confidence in transforming his reserved personality into a powerful voice capable of reaching audiences beyond Nigeria.
