Convener of the South South Reawaking Group, SSRG, Ambakederimo Joseph has congratulated the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC),Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda and the other members of the National Working Committee (NWC).

Ambakederimo who is also the leader of the south south, in a statement to the Vanguard said the emergence of Professor Yilwatda and his team marked a defining moment in the evolution of the APC.

He said : “We also commend the leadership and members of the party across all the states for the peaceful, transparent, and successful conduct of the ward, local government, and state congresses nationwide. These exercises have not only strengthened the party’s grassroots structures but have also reaffirmed the confidence of members in the democratic processes of the APC.

“As the new leadership assumes the responsibility of steering the affairs of the party, we urge them to be guided by the core values of integrity, accountability, and inclusiveness. The sustenance of internal democracy must remain a top priority. Respect for party supremacy, fairness in decision-making, and equitable distribution of opportunities will be essential in fostering unity and loyalty among members.

“Furthermore, we encourage Prof Yilwatda and his team to lead with vision, humility, and courage. The ability to listen to constructive advice from critical stakeholders, party elders, founding members, youths, women, and grassroots mobilizers will be instrumental in strengthening the party and deepening its democratic culture.

“At this critical time in our national journey, the APC must position itself not only as a political platform but as a vehicle for national development, unity, and stability. The expectations of Nigerians are high, and the party’s leadership must work tirelessly to align its policies and actions with the aspirations of the people.

“We are confident that under the leadership of Prof Yilwatda the APC will consolidate on its achievements, overcome internal challenges, and continue to grow as a formidable political force capable of delivering decisive victories in future elections.
