The Africa International Housing Show (AIHS), is proud to announce a landmark partnership with the World Expo to host its 20th anniversary edition referred to as AIHS @20 in Nigeria.
According to the organizers and promoters, “This is NM more than an event. This is a global convergence.”
For the first time, we are creating a powerful bridge between Africa’s $50M+ housing opportunity and the world’s leading developers, construction giants, building materials manufacturers, prop tech innovators and investors, the organisers said in a statement.
“This partnership is a game-changer. We are building a global marketplace where the world meets Africa’s housing opportunities.” Festus Adebayo, CEO, AIHS, stated.
Why this matters:
Africa faces a housing deficit of over 50 million units — one of the largest untapped opportunities globally.
“Through this partnership, AIHS @20 will feature country pavilions, cutting-edge innovations in smart and sustainable housing, direct access to policy and decision-makers, high-value business networking and deal-making.”
The housing show which is scheduled to hold between July 13th to 18th, 2026, at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, Nigeria, is expecting 40,000+ participants, 400+ exhibitors and 20+ countries.
According to the statement, if you are into real estate, construction, building materials, home interiors, energy and smart housing, investment and finance, you should care because this is where your next big deal is coming from.
“For 20 years, AIHS has been Africa’s most influential housing and construction platform.
“Now, with World Expo collaboration, we are going global,” the statement noted.
