Onjeh expresses grief over death of three APC youth leaders in Benue

Comrade Daniel Onjeh, the 2023 APC Benue South Senatorial Candidate, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of three youth leaders of the All Progressives Congress from Ogbadibo Local Government Area who died in a motor accident involving the bus conveying them from Ogbadibo Local Government Area to Lafia, Nasarawa State, where they were to attend the North Central Zonal Congress of the party. The deceased have been identified as Hon Anawo Benjamin of Orokam Ward 3, Hon Ogbe Enemari of Ai-oono Ward 3, and Hon Abraham Enenche of Olachagbaha Ward. They lost their lives in the unfortunate incident, while several others who were part of the delegation sustained varying degrees of injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.

Onjeh described the incident as a heartbreaking tragedy and a painful loss, not only to their immediate families but also to the APC family in Ogbadibo, Benue State, and beyond. He noted that the young leaders were committed party members who demonstrated dedication and loyalty to the growth and progress of the party at the grassroots.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the loss. He also commiserated with the APC family in Ogbadibo Local Government and Benue State at large over what he described as a collective tragedy.

Onjeh further expressed concern for those who sustained injuries in the accident and prayed for their quick and full recovery. He urged party members to stand together in this difficult moment and support one another.

He said the loss of vibrant young party leaders under such circumstances is deeply distressing, especially as they were on a journey in service of the party and its democratic process.

Onjeh concluded by calling for prayers and solidarity for the affected families and all those impacted by the tragedy, noting that their commitment and service to the party will always be remembered.
