…debunks law suit

Members of the Kogi State chapter of the African Democratic Congress, (ADC) on Tuesday passed a vote of confidence on the Party’s National Chairman, Senator David Mark, and declared that the Kogi State chapter has not instituted any court action against the Chairman or the party’s National Executive Council.

At a well attended stakeholders meeting, the motion was moved by former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye and seconded by Engr. Dr. Samuel Uhotu of Kogi Central.

According to a statement signed by Comrade Adaji John Udale, Secretary Kogi State ADC, the meeting was attended by senior ADC figures from across the state, including the National Vice Chairman (North Central), Senator Tunde Ogbeha, Former Deputy Governor, Simon Achuba, State Chairman of the party, Chief Kingsley Temitope Ogga, Senator. Dino Melaye, Senator Nurudeen Abatemi Usman, Senator Ahmed Ogembe, Engr. Musa Wada, former SSGs, Musa Ahmadu, Josephine Abanida, Shola Ojo, Kola Ologbodiya, and other, prominent members from Kogi Central, West and East.

Members resolved to stand firmly behind Senator Mark and his Executive commending his leadership style.

“Senator Mark has provided steady direction for our party, and the Kogi chapter stands firmly behind him, Senator Ogbeha said.

The Kogi State chapter also distanced itself completely from the reported court case against ADC hence the vote of confidence on the David Mark led National Executive.

The Kogi ADC said the resolution reinforces party unity at the state level and reaffirms its support for the national leadership, stressing that any contrary reports do not reflect the reality within the ADC in Kogi or at the national level.
