Renowned philanthropist and Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Dr. Princess Chetachi Nwoga-Ecton has officially declared her intention to run for the Owerri Zone Senatorial seat in the forthcoming general elections, answering a persistent call from youths in the zone.

Speaking from the United States, where she continues her extensive humanitarian work, Dr. Nwoga-Ecton announced her decision in a widely circulated statement that has generated excitement across Imo communities and the diaspora.

The founder of the When In Need Foundation, Dr. Nwoga-Ecton has earned global recognition for initiatives in empowerment, healthcare, education, and social welfare. She has also been a consistent advocate for agriculture, distributing seedlings and support to farmers across several local government areas in Imo State to promote food security and sustainable livelihoods.
