ABUJA — A nonprofit organization, the Bible Distribution Network (BDN), on Monday explained that the essence of distributing copies of the Holy Bible is to connect humanity with God.
Speaking about the movement, the Co-Founder of BDN, Dr. Thaddaeus Thompson, said the Holy Bible is God’s word to humanity and serves as a means for people to continually hear Him speak, guiding them toward obedience and commitment by establishing their lives on God’s Word.
Thompson further stated that the Holy Bible helps ensure that humanity lives according to God’s plan and purpose, rather than being carried away by personal desires or human ways of doing things.
He said: “We at the Bible Distribution Network (BDN) are a nonprofit organization divinely commissioned to spread the word of God through the distribution of the Holy Bible across continents of the world.
“We do not focus on the divisions people create among themselves because we believe the word of God is meant for all humanity. Our goal is to ensure that every household has access to the Holy Bible.
“BDN has a mission to take the word of God through the distribution of the Holy Bible to church camp meetings, seminars, retreats, crusades, and other Christian gatherings.
“Our role is to support what pastors and evangelists are already doing to save souls from the power of sin and Satan by providing Bibles to new converts and to those who do not yet have a copy of the Holy Scriptures.
“We have begun distributing Holy Bibles in Nigeria, and we plan to expand to other parts of the world. This is a movement aimed at saturating the world with the word of God through our non-denominational network.
“We recognize that other like-minded organizations are engaged in similar efforts, and we are open to partnering with them to take this mission further.
“We strongly believe in the power of God’s word to transform lives and change the current narrative in the world.”
He added that the Bible Distribution Network is committed to supporting the growth and expansion of God’s word across different parts of the world and is ready to collaborate with other Christian bodies to further propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
