During the high-level meeting, Dr. Dema presented her vision for transformative leadership focused on healthcare reform, youth empowerment, economic inclusion, and stronger representation for the Urhobo people in the National Assembly. “Our people deserve a voice that will champion healthcare accessibility, youth opportunities, and inclusive economic growth. My aspiration is rooted in service, integrity, and the resolve to give Delta Central the quality representation it truly deserves,” Dr. Dema said.
Chief Uba Michael warmly received the aspirant, commending her professional excellence as an optometrist and her consistent dedication to community service. He described her decision to enter politics as timely and encouraging, noting that Nigeria requires leaders who blend expertise with genuine public commitment.
“Nigeria needs leaders who combine professional excellence with a genuine commitment to the people. It is encouraging to see accomplished individuals like Dr. Dema offering themselves for leadership and seeking constructive partnerships that can drive real development,” Chief Michael stated.
The discussions also covered critical issues affecting Delta Central, including youth unemployment, infrastructure deficits, economic diversification, and enhanced healthcare delivery. Both leaders agreed on the need for collaborative efforts to achieve lasting progress.
Political analysts view the engagement as a strategic move by Dr. Dema to build broad-based support across political, business, and community lines as she seeks the ADC ticket.
